Vala’s Pumpkin Patch is adding a carousel to their farm and needed a suitable sign at the entrance. Peter was the obvious choice to hand sculpt the prancing pony on top. He did a fabulous job! Next will be the paint which will take it over the top!
As spectacular as the ‘little’ pig BBQ sign seems it is dwarfed in every sense by the large version. The sculpting is more detailed. The base and blend coats of paint are out of this world. And of course the monstrous size will make this piece unforgettable as it stands proud over the entrance to the restaurant. Tomorrow Becky will start applying the magical glazes to bring this prodigious porker to life! Stay tuned…
Ross Johnson, from South Dakota sent along more pictures of Sprocket the robot today. The photos chronicle the assembly process which happened in a few short hours. It went together easily and quickly by all reports - just like we hoped it would. Ross mentioned a whole lot more cars are stopping and pretty mush everyone poses by the robot and takes a selfie. That’s how advertising is supposed to work!!
