The last of the NEB’s wall sections received their final glazes today, making them ready to pull out into the driveway next week. Henry is very excited about that prospect, as he has been promised we will start work on his parade float as soon as the shop empties. Stay tuned…
Back to reality
Matt & I, after travelling all night, arrived home four hours before we left (due to crossing the date line). After seeing so much great work over the last week, we were exhausted but inspired. Matt’s vehicle keys were locked in the shop, so we popped in for a quick look to see what the crew had achieved in our absence. As we admired the work, we realized that our work was on par with what we witnessed at Disney, keeping in mind it is much smaller in scale and not as complex in its workings. Our resolve is to continue to improve and get ever more imaginative with every project we tackle in the future…
Homeward bound
After eight days of roaming the Tokyo Disney Parks and a day of navigating the subways and wandering the streets of Tokyo, we are now sitting in the terminal waiting to board our plane and be homebound. Our nine-hour flight leaves at 10:00 this evening and arrives early afternoon tomorrow (local time). We are exhausted but inspired to go back to the studio and practice what we’ve discovered and learned.
