Wall to wall castle walls

It’s wall-to-wall castle walls out in the parking lot since we moved the giant pieces out of the shop. The good news is that the shop is much roomier once again. There’s still a little more painting work for the final touches but it will be done in the sunshine. The giant dragon and the troll now reside in the shop until they are finished. Back in business

This morning, Becke and I carried out the replacement lettering for the sign and slipped it into place to complete the repairs on our sign. It fit perfectly and looked great! The upper portion of the sign still looks good, even after being in place for more than fifteen years. It pays to use quality materials and overbuild our projects!

Bright colours

As the warm temperatures continue into September we are making the best of it to paint the wall of the Hazelnut Inn. For the base coats, we use leftover paint from previous projects so things look a little bright at this stage. Lainey did the honours of priming the ‘crumbling’ brick tower. This coming week the painting crew will get on with the blend coats and glazes. Stay tuned…
